Episode 19: Helping Out

I knew it was coming.

Every weekend, theres always someone trying to saboh me...

But at least I was prepared for it this time around.

So it begins...

I was sleeping peacefully when my hand phone rang. It was Kala. She told me she was sick and couldn't come to work. Feeling sorry, I decided to help cover for her. When I reached work, Faris was surprised to see me. So was I dude, so was I. Opened up the store to find the store in a mess. Checked who worked there last, it was Dee-Dee. Must've been busy last night. I found out she was working alone so I can't blame her. Rolled up my sleeves, cause there was alot to be done!

The earlier part of the day was a complete mess! Had to do a massive refund for a customer who bought the wrong item. I keyed in the wrong amount for the daily sales as well! Definitely one to forget. Even Faris was surprised how error prone I was on that day. Later, received a call from the manager. She asked either me or Faris could stay behind tonight. After discussing it, I volunteered myself. Faris had school tomorrow.

Later in the afternoon I saw Dee-Dee at the counter. She had this kesian look on her face. Faris says he wanted to take a picture of her. Poor girl... She still thinks shes working alone again. After Faris left, I helped Dee-Dee out at the store. In between, we had some interesting conversations and she showed me pictures of her at her other workplace. Very informative! Later that night got a call from the manager telling me I had to cover the morning shift again tomorrow. I was like,"WHAT?!"

I felt bad leaving Dee-Dee at the store like that all by herself but I guess it can't be helped. I just hope she understands my situation.
